Saving your jpeg file from Photoshop

Saving out your image file from Photoshop is easy. Just follow these steps.

Step 1

Open your file:

The file we are saving out here is a layered photoshop file (PSD).

Step 2

Flatten your file:

You only need to do this on layered files. If already single layer artwork go to step 5.

Step 3

Flatten Image:

Your graphic will now be in one layer.

Step 4

Save as jpeg:

Go to: File – Save As

Select: Jpeg as below and click save

Step 6

Jpeg options:

Quality needs to be set to 12. (this gives maxiumum quality)

Format Option needs to be set to ‘Baseline (”Standard”)’
