Setting up your file in Illustrator – Document Colour Settings

CMYK

Please make sure when submitting your file that the colour mode is set to CMYK. Setting your file in other colour modes can effect the colour quality.

Spot Colours

Please be aware that now and then spot colours or pantone refs will be used in a file. When spot colours are used with transparencies, spot colours can cause a conict when saving out as a pdf. It is always best to convert all spot colours to CMYK. To do this ‘select all’ in the document and go to: Edit – Edit Colours – Covert to CMYK
